Nusrat murder case charge-sheet

Live Correspondent: The charge sheet in the case filed over killing Feni madrasa girl Nusrat Jahan Rafi by setting her on fire will be submitted on Wednesday (May 29). Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) will submit the charge-sheet against 16 people involved in the Nusrat murder.

The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) have finalized charge-sheet against 16 accused over the murder of Nusrat Jahan Rafi and it will be pressed before a Feni court tomorrow.

Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Chief Banaj Kumar Majumdar said this at a press conference at the PBI headquarters today.

The accused are Feni Madrasah ex-principal SM Siraj Ud Doula, 57, Nur Uddin, 20, Shahdat Hossain Shamim, 20, Maksud Alam alias Moksud Al councilor, 50, Saifur Rahman Mohammad Jobayer, 21, Jabed Hossain alias Sakhwat Hossain Jaber, 19, Hafez Abdul Kader, 25, Afsar Uddin, 33, Kamrun Nahar Moni, 19, Umme Sultana Popy alias Tuhin alias Shampa alias Champa,19, Abdur Rahim Sharif, 20, Eftekhar Uddin Rana, 22, Imran Hossain alias Mamun, 22, Mohammad Shamim, 20, Ruhul Amin,55, and Mohiuddin Shakil,20.

Banaj Kumar Mazumder, deputy inspector general (DIG) of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), disclosed the information at a press conference at PBI office in capital’s Dhanmondi on Tuesday (May 28).

In the charge-sheet, capital punishment has been sought for those involved in the murder.
