Sifat gets bail, cases handed over to RAB

Live Correspondent: Shahedul Islam Sifat, who accompanied slain Major (retd) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan, has also secured bail in two cases filed by police.
Senior Judicial Magistrate (Teknaf-3) Tamanna Farah granted the bail on Monday.
Now, the RAB will investigate all four cases filed over Sinha's murder. Of those, two cases have been filed with Teknaf Police Station, one has been with Ramu Police Station while the rest one has been with Cox's Bazar court on behalf of Sinha's family.
On July 31 night, Major (retd) Sinha was killed in police firing during the searching at Baharchhara Police Checkpost.
