Live Correspondent: Pori Moni’s bail hearing rescheduled to Aug 31, A Dhaka court has fixed August 31 for bail hearing in a case filed under Narcotics Control Act against Dhallywood actress Pori Moni.

Additional Public Prosecutor Taposh Kumar Pal confirmed the matter.

Earlier, on August 22, Pori Moni's lawyer Mojibur Rahman appealed for bail with Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court, he said.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayesh set September 13   for hearing.

Later, the High Court issued a rule questioning legality of a remote date fixed by the lower court for bail hearing.
