Rape case filed against 5 Khulna GRP

Live Correspondent: A case was filed against five policemen, including the officer-in-charge of Government Railway Police (GRP), on Friday evening for allegedly gang-raping a woman in custody eight days ago.

Five railway policemen allegedly raped a woman on the evening of August 2 and produced her before a court the next day showing her arrested with five bottles of contraband phensedyl. The court ordered a medical test after the victim raised allegation of rape. [Reports UNB]

The victim filed the case at GRP Police Station against OC Osman Gani Pathan and four others, said Kushtia Railway Circle’s Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Firoz Ahmed.
