Live Correspondent: A Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Sunday set March 23 for submitting the probe report against Sultana Ahmed, former general secretary of Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal, in a Digital Security Act case.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order as police failed to submit the report to the court on Sunday.
Earlier on November 6, the RAB-3 arrested Sultana from her Gulshan residence. As she was produced before the court on the same day, the court placed her on a two-day remand.
Former president of the Gopalganj district Chhatra League Abdul Hamid filed the case with the Paltan model police station.
According to the case, Sultana made hateful and offensive comments about prime minister Sheikh Hasina, while attending a rally of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party in front of public media on September 1, 2022.
