2 factions of BCL clash at Chattogram University, 15 hurt

Live Correspondent: Two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at Chattogram University clashed early hours of Tuesday over establishing supremacy.At least 15 people were injured in the clash incident that started around 12:45am.
The clash ensued between two sections of Bijoy group--one was led by Delwar Hossain while another was Al Amin, BCL vice-president.
The activists of both groups started pelting brickbats and chased each other while one group was heading towards Shaheed Minar to pay tributes language martyrs.
Later, the proctorial team and police took the situation under control around 1:45am as the clash spread on the campus. BCL sources said there has been internal conflict between the Bijoy group members which led to the clash.
CU medical centre sources said of the injured, one was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
"Additional police personnel have been deployed to avert further clash. Action will be taken after getting written complaint", said the university assistant proctor Hasan Mohammad Roman.
