DU Live: Three topics on Scientific Research School were held in the morning session of 3nd day of CIMPA Research School on Dynamical Systems and its Applications to Biology in the Department of Mathematics, Dhaka University in the on June 12,2019.
Dr. Isabel Rios of Brazil, discussed on Introduction to geometric Dynamical Systems II, Dr. Sylvain Mousset of Austria discussed on Applications of ODEs and Dynamical Systems in Biology and Dr. Nicolas Bédaride of France discussed on Introduction to Symbolic Dynamics in the morning session.
In the afternoon in three sessions they discussed in on problem and its solution with application. The participants are enjoying the lectures.
Around 55 faculty members, researchers are participating in this school from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Egypt and Malaysia. 7 leading specialists from French, Germany, Brazil, Spain and Austria working in this area will deliver lectures in the proposed school.
This type of research school will be organized first time ever in mathematics education in Bangladesh.
CIMPA Research School on Dynamical Systems and its Applications to Biology inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka, Professor Dr. Md Akhtaruzzman on 10 June 2019 in the Department of Mathematics, Dhaka University.
Deputy Minister of Education Mr. Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury, MP was present as Chief guest in the inaugural ceremony.
The closing session will be held on Department of Mathematics, Dhaka University at 3:00 pm. Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahidullah will present in the closing session as Chief guest.
External Coordinator Dr. Renaud Leplaideur, Professor of Nouvelle University in France, CIMPA Representative in Bangladesh, Dr. Lidia Fernandez Rodriguez, Professor of Universidad de Granada, Spain.
Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Professor of Dhaka University is responsible as Local Coordinator of this school.
