BDU celebrates PM Sheikh Hasina's 74th birthday

BDU Live; The 74th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also president of ruling Bangladesh Awami League, was celebrated on Monday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU) campus in a befitting manner.

Eldest of five offspring of Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Begum Fazilatunnesa, Hasina was born in Gopalganj’s Tungipara upazila on September 28 in 1947.
Marking the day, authorities of BDU organized a discussion program, doa mahfil and tree plantation programme at its campus in Kaliakair of Gazipur.

Addressing the function as chief guest, BDU vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor highlighted the glorious life of hon'ble prime minister Sheikh Hasina and wished her good health and long career.

Later, they arranged a milad and doa mahfil where a special munajat was offered seeking blessings of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members. Besides, VC Munaz Ahmed planted a fruit tree at the campus premises marking the day.

Among others, Registrar (additional charge) Md. Ashraf Uddin, Senior System Analyst Muhammad Shahinul Kabir and other officers and employees of the university were also present on the occasion.
