Former DUCSU VP Nur files attempt to murder complaint

 

DU Live: Former Ducsu Vice President Nurul Haque Nur has filed a complaint with Hatirjheel Police Station on Thursday alleging an attempt on his life.

In his written complaint, he alleged that a private car tried to hit him twice at the city's Malibagh area near his resident around 11:00pm Wednesday night. When locals noticed the matter, the miscreant’s car fled the spot.

Nur came up with the allegation at a press briefing at Paltan Zaman Tower around 2:30pm on Thursday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Tejgaon zone) Deputy Commissioner Harun Or Rashid said, “I heard of the incident. I will know details about the incident from the concerned station."

Police will investigate what actually happened, he added.
