MoU Signing NSU & ICAB

 

NSU Live: An memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the North South University (NSU) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) was signed at the Syndicate Hall, NSU on 01 April 2021. Under this MoU, ICAB will award exemptions to NSU students for three BBA courses in Chartered Accountancy qualifications.

It will facilitate NSU students to acquire Chartered Accountancy qualification in a fast track. In addition, MoU is expected to facilitate research collaboration and training programs between NSU and ICAB whereby students, teachers, professionals, other stakeholders can be benefited.

Professor Dr. Atiqul Islam, Vice Chancellor of NSU and Mr. Mahmudul Hasan Khusru FCA, President of ICAB signed the MoU from their respective sides. ICAB Vice President Mr. Abdul Kader Joaddar FCA, Professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Dean, School of Business and Economics; Professor Dr. Sharif Nurul Ahkam, Professor Dr. Mohammad Istiaq Azim, Dr. Nurul Kabir among others were present in the program.

Graduates of the North South University who completed Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2017 and onward will be eligible to apply for exemptions.
