DU halls to reopen on October 1 subject to completion of students’ vaccination

 

DU Live: The residential halls of Dhaka University (DU) will be opened on October 1 subject to the completion of the Covid-19 vaccination of the students.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the provost standing committee of DU on Tuesday. DU Proctor Prof Dr. AKM Golam Rabbani made the disclosure after the meeting, say media reports.

Prof Dr. AKM Golam Rabbani said, “If our students can receive Covid-19 vaccines by September 15, then we would be able to reopen residential halls of the university.

In the beginning, final year students of graduation and students at masters level will get scopes to enter halls. In mid-November, all students will avail this opportunity.”
