BUP holds webinar on emotional issues of varsity students

Live Correspondent: Counseling & Placement Centre (CPC) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has organized this webinar titled ‘Understanding the Needs of University Students Who Suffer from Emotional Issues: Ways to Address Those’ on Thursday virtually.

Emotional health issues are still a myth in our society compared to the fact that it is a treatable issue that affects millions of people in the world. The university going students are its common victim among them.
 
Emotional challenges get in the way of everyday life, causing pain, hurting not just those suffering from it but also impacting everyone around them. The aim of the webinar was to focus on the emotional health and education of University students.
 
Vice Chancellor of BUP Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman was present as the chief guest to grace the occasion. Professor Dr. Mahjabeen Haque of Dhaka University was present as keynote speaker.
 
Keynote speaker focused on emotional issues and means to solving problems. She also advised the students how to get rid from those. She mentioned ways to move on with the ups and downs in life.
 
Dr. Mahjabeen encouraged to be courageous to overcome all odds and suggested measures, which should be practiced to develop a balance life style with sound mind for the students.
 
BUP VC highly inspired all audience with his prudence and effective guidance driven speech. He mentioned the importance of sound mind to become a balanced human being beside the education.
 
This webinar was concluded with the vote of thanks by Air Cdre Muhammad Belal, Treasurer, BUP, while moderated by Lt Col Abu Ayub Md Hassan, Additional Director, BUP.
