University of South Asia celebrates Pahela Baishakh

Unisa Live: The University of South Asia campus was alive amidst the festivities of Pohela Boishakh 1426. All members of the University of South Asia family, ranging from the staff to the students to the faculty to the administration we enthusiastically engaged in different activities.

Throughout the day there were people gathered at the mini fair stalls set up by the students selling trinkets and food. The festivities commenced with Mongol Shubhojatra at 10:30 am followed by the inauguration of the stalls at the on-campus mini fair. The highlights of this year’s celebration were the folk games such
as Hari Bhhanga and Gupto Dhan.

The celebrations were concluded with a cultural program where both the faculty members and the students performed. The Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Deputy Registrar and other faculty and administrative staff were present throughout the day.
