Fire at Dhaka University's Sufia Kamal Hall

DU Live: A fire broke out on the 8th floor of Dhaka University's Sufia Kamal Hall building on Tuesday night.
Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director (Media cell) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire broke out at about 9.10 pm and two firefighting units doused the fire around 9:32 pm.
The fire started from an electric short-circuit in 806 room of the building, said Associate Professor Dr. Lina Taposhi Khan.
"No one was reported injured and details would be known after investigation," she added.
