Cultural Affairs Officer, U.S. Embassy, Isabelle Zsoldos attended the event as chief guest while  Chief News Editor,  Independent Television ,  Ashish Ghosh Saika was present as special guest with Vice Chancellor of the United International University, Mr. Mofizur Rahman Chowdhury  in the chair.

Speakers said that students of school and colleges are losing interest towards science education on a constant basis. They feel discouraged as the classes are not interactive and engaging.

Lack of sufficient tools, equipment and trained teachers are responsible for this. Science education is to learn more practically, not only just going through books. So, science classes demand more interactive and engaging.

The chief guest in her speech said that science education becomes fun to learn when there is an urgency or necessity to inquire about its various aspects. We need to develop the inquiry-based learning curiosity among the students.

Without inquiry-based learning it’s difficult to understand the significance of the learning. If the inquiry-based learning is applied students will be more enthusiastic towards science education.
