Call to proper implementation of education

Live Correspondent: Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Secretariat Commission today approved an estimated Tk 328.22 crore budget for parliament for its development and non-development expenditures for the next fiscal 2019-2020 (FY20).

The approval was given at the 30th meeting of the parliament secretariat commission held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, said a press release. The commission also approved the supplementary budget for the current fiscal 2018-19 and projected budgets for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 fiscal years.

Managing Director of Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust Fund ABM Zakir Hossain addressed the workshop as chief guest with Deputy Commissioner SM Abdul Kader in the chair.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Alamgir Kabir spoke on the occasion as special guest while District Education Officer Nasir Uddin welcomed the participants.

Anwar Hossain, Assistant Director of Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust Fund, illustrated the aims and objectives of the fund and its activities and implementation strategy in his multimedia presentation.
