"Govt introduces digital era in education system"

Live Correspondent: Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has said the present government had introduced digital era in education system to expand quality education for turning students of the present days into worthy citizens.

“Meritorious students are national resources and assets to take the country forward through flourishing their innovative and intellectual talents to further accelerate development,” the minister said.

Tipu Munshi said this at a function held at Kawnia upazila parishad auditorium on Saturday late afternoon for distribution of education stipends among meritorious students, grants among patients and dry foods as relief goods among flood-hit people of the upazila.

“The students should be properly educated in accordance with the changing era,” he said and suggesting parents to properly look after their children so that evil forces in the society could not misguide to make them derailed.

With Kawnia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ulfat Ara Begum in the chair, Upazila Parishad Chairman Anwarul Islam Maya, its Vice-chairmen Abdur Razzaque and Angura Begum and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Zakir Hossain addressed the function as special guests.
