Government mulls starting MPhil and PhD in private varsities

 

Live Correspondent: The government is mulling giving approval to private universities for offering MPhil and Ph.D. degrees.   

The research on multiple fields will be extended after identifying meritorious students and approving these courses.

 

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni disclosed this information at a program in the capital on Monday.

There is no alternative to research for the special progress of education and nation. The culture of research will have to be built in the universities, she said.
