"Govt mulling online monitoring at educational institutions"

Live Correspondent: Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said the government is considering to introduce online monitoring system at all educational institutions to supplement the efforts of improving quality of education.

“We have already intensified our monitoring at the educational institutions for ensuring better academic atmosphere at the education sector,” she told at the summer sports competition for the students on the Durgapur High School ground here.

Deputy Commissioner Md Mazedur Rahman Khan, general secretary of district unit of Awami League (AL) Abu Naiyum Patwari Dulal and officials, among others, addressed the function with Hamchar Upazila Parishad Chairman Noor Hossain Patwari in the chair.

Dr Dipu said, “We are taking initiatives for improving a sense of moral values to build perfect human-beings so that they can contribute better to the society” She said despite a number of challenges, Bangladesh has some remarkable and praiseworthy achievements in the education sector.

“Distribution of free textbook among the students of primary and secondary levels, increased enrolment rate and eradicating gender inequality in primary and secondary education have already been acknowledged in different international forums,” the minister added.
