Abrar Fahad killing sparks student protests at JnU

JNU Live; Hundreds of students of Jagannath University (JnU) brought out a torch-wielding procession on Monday evening protesting the recent murder of BUET student Abrar Fahad.

Agitated students also demanded exemplary punishment for those, who are involved in the murder of Abrar.

A section of Jagannath University students, under the banner of “General Students of JnU”, started the torch procession from the base of Central Shaheed Minar on the university campus around 6:30 pm.

The procession encompassed the whole campus while the students chanted different slogans demanding justice for slain Abrar

Abrar, a second tear student of the EEE department in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was beaten to death by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists at a room of Sher-e-Bangla Hall at Chawkbazar area in the capital on Sunday night.
