ACC chairman for quality primary education

Live Correspondent: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud today called for ensuring quality education to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)-4 by 2030.

“We have to transform primary students into worthy citizens to supplement efforts of the government to build Bangladesh as an economically advanced country,” he told a view-sharing meeting on special social motivational and mass-awareness here.

District Primary Education Office organised the meeting at Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Zila Parishad auditorium where more than 325 primary education officials, teachers, parents, mothers, school managing committee members and others concerned attended.

Secretary of Primary and Mass Education Ministry Akram-Al-Hossain and Director General of the Department of Primary Education Dr AFM Monzur Quadir addressed the meeting as special gusts with Deputy Commissioner Hamidul Haque in the chair.
