Rangpur city polls: Jatiya Party candidate is leading race

Live Correspondent: Jatiya Party candidate Mostafizar Rahman is leading in Rangpur City Corporation elections.
Vote counting is underway. As per the results of 16 centers, Jatiya Party candidate Mostafizar Rahman is ahead by a huge margin of other candidates. He got 9,376 votes.
Meanwhile, Awami League candidate Advocate Hosne Ara Lutfa Dalia got 1,006 votes. She is reportedly defeated in her own center.
Independent candidate Latifur Rahman Milan is ahead of Milan. He bagged 3,076 votes. Milan is a rebel candidate for the Awami League.
