Nisho, Mehazabien among 7 sued

Entertainment Live : Two separate cases have been filed against seven persons, including actor Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury, on charges of negatively presenting specially-abled people at a TV event and making hurtful comparisons regarding specially-abled people on a talk show.
Bashir Al Hossain, 45, a specially-abled person from Gazipur, filed the cases under the Persons with Disabilities Rights and Protection Act.
After hearing, Dhaka's Additional Magistrate Abu Bakr Siddique asked the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to submit the report on September 22.
The other four accused in the cases are managing director of Impress Telefilm Ltd and Channel i Faridur Reza Sagar, Head of News Shaykh Seraj, screenwriter Moinul Shanu, director Rubel Hasan and Barrister Sayedul Haque Suman.
The cases were filed for presenting negative opinions against disabled persons at a tell fiction named 'Ghotona Shatya' on July 23 and a discussion programme on July 11.
