HSC exams begin Dec 2

Live Correspondent: The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will begin across the country on December 2. Besides, all coaching centers will be closed from November 25 to January 3 to ensure smooth conduct of examinations and to prevent question paper leak.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said this at a press briefing held at its office in Dhaka. The education minister said the HSC examinations will start from December 2 and continue until December 30. All the coaching centers in the country will be closed from November 25 to January 3 to conduct the exams in a fair way, she said.

Dipu Moni said a total of 13,99, 690 students will take part in this year’s examinations. Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Technical and Madrasah Education Division secretary Aminul Islam Khan and Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education DG Professor Dr. Syed Md. Golam Faruk, among others, were present at the press conference.
