Live Correspondent: Two more persons have been tested positive with coronavirus (Covid-19) in Bangladesh last 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 51, according to the IEDCR.
The death toll from the disease has remained unchanged at five, Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said at an online media briefing on Tuesay.
“Six more people have recovered in the last 24 hours. Of all the people infected with the virus, 25 people have returned home,” Flora said. IEDCR and other agencies have tested 140 samples in the last 24 hours.
The virus has infected more than 788,205 people globally with a death toll of 37,883.
