Dr Zafrullah tests ‘positive’ for coronavirus

 

 

Live Correspondent: Founder and trustee of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury has been tested positive for Covid-19.Dr Zafrullah himself disclosed the result of his coronavirus infection to the media on Monday (May 25).

He was tested at the lab of Gonoshasthya Nagar Hospital in Dhanmondi in the capital on Sunday (May 24) and was found infected with Covid-19. He told media that after breaking his fast on Sunday, he felt a little sick with a fever. Then he did a corona test at Gonoshasthya Nagar Hospital. The antigen was positive.

“Since then I have been in isolation at home. Now there is no other symptom of corona in the body except fever,” Dr Zafrullah added.

He further said that his antigen was tested with the kit invented by the Gonoshasthya Kendra. The result is positive.

Other members of Dr Zafrullah’s house were also tested as he was tested positive for coronavirus. But their Covid-19 tests were found negative.
