Rana Dasgupta, wife test positive for Covid-19

 

 

Live Correspondent: Senior Prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal Rana Dasgupta and his wife, a principal officer of a bank, tested positive for Covid-19. They are Both (Rana Dasgupta and his wife) gave samples for coronavirus test two days back and received results last night.

Another prosecutor of the tribunal, Advocate Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman, confirmed the matter to media on Thursday.

Rana Dasgupta, who is also the general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad. He is suffering from fever and coughing, the prosecutor said.

Rana Dasgupta, who is now in Chattogram, will be shifted to a private hospital shortly, he said adding, "We are also planning to bring him in Dhaka once we get an air ambulance."
