Zafar Wazed to act as PIB DG for 2 more years

Live Correspondent: The government has appointed eminent journalist Zafar Wazed as Director General (DG) of the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) for two more years.
The Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday issued a gazette notification in this regard, says media report.
The Ekushey Award-winning journalist will serve as the PIB DG for the next two years from the date of joining on Wednesday (April 21, 2021).
Zafar Wazed was appointed the DG of PIB on April 21, 2019. His term expired on April 20, 2021.
