Woman dies in Sher-e-Bangla Medical corona ward

 

 

Barishal Live: A woman died at a hospital in Barishal city with coronavirus symptoms on Sunday morning.

She breathed her last at the coronavirus isolation unit of Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital at around 7:20am.

The deceased was identified as Niru Begum, 45, wife of Md Dulal of Puranpara in the city.

SBMC Director Dr Md Bakir Hossain told that the relatives of the patient from Patuakhali Medical College Hospital to SBMC at 5:50pm on Saturday.

The woman with coronavirus symptoms was later shifted to Corona Ward from Medicine Unit last night. She died in this morning.

Sample was collected from her body and she would be buried as per direction of the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control And Research (IEDCR), SBMC Director said.
