No need to come to offices from 'red zone':

 

 

Live Correspondent: The public administration ministry has asked officers and employees not to come to offices from coronavirus infected areas considered as ‘red zone’.

Talking to media, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Wednesday said some 25 percent officers-employees are working in offices while 25 percent are working online and with the help of mobile device from home. And the rest 50 percent has been kept reserved.  

Farhad Hossain said, “Please do not come to offices or workplaces from risky areas. You will be infected, if you come outside. We are working with extra caution. Officials are working following disciplines. And we have to continue those disciplines. Besides, we have to work to make our economy vibrant.”     

He also said, “Temporarily, we are telling Dhaka, Chattogram, Narayanganj and Gazipur as red zones. Maybe, the entire Dhaka would not be a red zone. The infection rate is more or less here. Red zones will be divided into small areas. Otherwise, activities would be halted.”

Informing that officials-employees have been asked to work online instead of coming to offices from red zones, the state minister said, “Work is going on for mapping. There will be red, yellow or green zones. And data of every day will be available there.”
