"Cop attackers to be hunted down"

Live Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Sunday said those involved in the bomb attacks on police in the city’s Malibagh and Gulistan areas will be arrested soon, reports UNB. 

“Although the militants are trying to get reorganized, they’ve no capacity of carrying out big attacks,” he said while talking to reporters at an Eid cloth distribution programme at Government Science College in the city’s Farmgate area.

Five people, including three traffic police, were injured in separate incidents of crude bomb explosions in the city’s Malibagh and Gulistan areas on May 26 and April 29 respectively.

Talking about Eid security, Asaduzzaman said three-tier security measures have been taken for avoiding any kind of occurrence centering eid congregations.
