Live Correspondent: Education Minister Dipu Moni has said all educational institutions will be reopened soon if the rate of coronavirus infection continues to decline. “Educational institutions will be reopened step by step. In the beginning, not everyone will have classes 7 days a week,” she said at a function held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Awami League’s sub-committee on cultural affairs organized the program on the occasion of the National Mourning Day. The Education Minister said educational institutions will be reopened step by step. In the beginning, not everyone will have classes 7 days a week, she added.

Dipu Moni said, “Hopefully, the way the infection rate is coming down, it is good news for us. If coronavirus infection continues to decline, we will be able to open all the educational institutions very soon. But we will reopen it step by step.”

“The number of students in our classroom is more than any other country in the world. Because of this, it is important to maintain social distance in this disease.”

The Education Minister said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed us from the beginning of this global crisis not to disrupt the education of our students, but to make health care a priority. That is what we are doing so far. We have adopted various methods so that they do not lag behind in their studies.”
