Eight OCs transferred

Live Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred officers-in-charge (OCs) of eight police stations. 

DMP’s headquarters on Tuesday issued an order regarding the matter. As per the order, Abu Bakar Siddik, OC of Bhatara police station was transferred to Paltan police station, Mohammad Yeasir Arafat, Inspector (unarmed) of Kalabagan police station to Motijheel police station, Md Mostafizur Rahman, OC of Khilkhet police station to Mirpur model police station, Md Mizanur Rahman,

OC of Shyampur police station to Kotwali police station, Paritosh Chandra, Inspector (investigation) of Uttar-Purba police station to Kalabagan police station, Moktaruzzaman, Inspector (investigation) of Airport police station to Bhatara police station, Md Mofizul Alam,

Inspector (investigation) of Sabujbagh police station to Shyampur police station and Mohammad Borhan Uddin and Inspector (unarmed) of Banani police station to Khilkhet police station. 

Besides, Md Omor Faruk, OC of Motijheel police station was transferred to DB (Uttar Division), Md Dadon Fakir, OC of Mirpur model police station to DB (South Division) and Md Sahidur Rahman, OC of Kotwali police station to DB (West Division).

To be noted, DMP commissioner recently said steps will be taken against the OCs if allegations have been found against them.
