Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina relishes food made without onion

“We’ve stopped taking onion, and all the food items of my lunch were cooked without onion at my residence,” PM’s Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Jahid Tusher quoted the Prime Minister as saying.
The Prime Minister made the remarks at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the evening before departing for Dubai on a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).“The foods without onion were very tasty,” she said and thanked the cooks of her official residence Ganobhaban for preparing such delicious food items.
Sheikh Hasina also said onion is being imported by cargo planes to cool down the overheated market of the essential kitchen item.
