Website for Bangabandhu’s birth centenary celebration

Live Correspondent: Website for the celebration of birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be finalized within this month as all preparation are being taken in this regard.

The information was revealed today at a meeting of the committee to scrutinize or select contents for the website of the ‘National Implementation Committee for the Celebration of the Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’ at the International Mother Language Institute in the city.

Convener of the committee to scrutinize or select contents for the website and Member secretary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust Sheikh Hafizur Rahman presided over the meeting while Chief Coordinator of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury attended the meeting.

Among others, curator of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum Nazrul Islam Khan, National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Harun-or-Rashid, former city editor of the Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Ajit Kumar Sarkar, Suchinta Foundation Chairman Prof Mohammad A Arafat and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Barrister Shah Ali Farhad took part at the meeting.

During the meeting, they discussed on various issues of the website and decided to finalize it within this month. They also informed that all information for celebrating the birth centenary will be available at the website.
