NSU Live: An international seminar on “Remembrance of Rohingya genocide: Bangladeshi and international perspectives” was held on North South University (NSU) campus on Wednesday for commemorating five years of the genocide.
The university Center for Peace Studies (CPS) hosted the seminar where Planning Minister M A Mannan joined as the chief guest. World Islamic Economic Foundation chairman Dr. Syed Hamid Albar presented the keynote in the program.
NSU Economics department teacher Parisa Shakur moderated the seminar while CPS coordinator Dr. Abdul Wohab Malaysian High Commissioner in Bangladesh, academics, researchers, diplomats, journalists, and students were present.
At the program, CPS presented a resolution and a position paper on “Rohingya in Bangladesh: Five years later, our vision for the future”.
