NSU Live: Global Chairman & CEO of Coca-Cola Company Mr. James Quincey visited the first private university and the number one ranked private university of Bangladesh, North South University (NSU) to interact with a group of young students and spoke on “How Coca-Cola sustainably grows as a local company”.
 
He broadly covered Coca-Cola Company’s purpose, how to create a more sustainable business and better shared future, making a difference in people’s lives, communities and our planet. He also participated in Question & Answering session with the students at the end of seminar.
 
 
Mr. Manuel Arroyo Prieto, President, APAC Group & Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Marcelo Boffi, President, Bottling Investment Group and Mr. T Krishnakumar, President, India & South West Asia Group were also present during the program. Mr. James Quincey said, We are working to reduce carbon and wastage of water with a view to contributing positively to the environment.
 
During this time he mentioned that, we value local talents and sustainable business development and enhancing the life standard of local community. He declared to invest 1700 core taka in different development projects in Bangladesh.
 
During this time, he thanked NSU authority for producing efficient talented graduates and mentioned that the country marketing manager of Cocacola Bangladesh is a NSU graduate and more than 10 percent of the employees of cocacola Bangladesh are North South University graduate.
 
Among others, Freedom Fighter Lion Mr. Benajir Ahmed, Chairman, Board of Trustees, North South University, Professor Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of North South University, Professor Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Deans of different schools, Directors of various departments, Department Heads, senior officials, Teachers and students were also present at the program
