Live Correspondent: COVID – 19 has played a vicious role in our lives all around the globe. The virus did not only strike our health sector badly but also the global economy was affected by its wrath.

The lockdown in the country enforced all the industries to close down its operations that influenced a lot of low-income laborers of our country to get unemployed.

Sooner, people belonging from the lower-class were being unable even to afford the staple foods to feed themselves. As a philanthropic initiative to ensure that no one gets left out in these severe times, North South University Social Services Club started a humanitarian campaign named “Shouhardo.”

Yet another humanitarian event from NSU Social Services Club to put forth a valiant effort to ease the sufferings of those who were left with nothing but distress of how to survive in these challenging times.

The campaign was initiated to provide all the essential staple foods to the ones in need of it, from as many areas of the nation as possible. So far, the club has been successfully distributing essential food supplies to multiple regions in the five different districts in the country, which are Dhaka, Chattogram, Feni, Bogra and Cox’s Bazaar.

NSUSSC believes that in these worse times, it is our responsibility to help those who are getting affected due to the lockdown. In that way, we will be able to ensure that these people don’t have to go outside of their homes to earn something by violating the lockdown restriction and putting everyone’s lives in jeopardy.

The campaign couldn’t be made possible without some of the philanthropic entities who were regularly donating to this noble initiative.
