NSU: We Deeply Mourn

NSU Live: Board of Trustees of North South University (NSU) inform you with deep sorrow that our well-respected Founder General Memberof the NSU Trust,Prof. Syed A. Ahadis no more. He expired today, 12 March at 3.10 a.m. at Labaid Hospital, Dhaka suffering from liver cancer (Inna LillahiWa Inna ElaihiRajeun).

He will be buried in his family graveyard at Gafargaon, Mymensingh. The members of the NSU Board of Trustees and NSU are deeply shocked at his sad demise. We mourn his death as irreparable loss to NSU family.

Prof. Syed A. Ahadwas a Founder General Member of NSU Foundation since the inception. We gratefully remember his immense contribution to the growth of NSU. Apart from being the Founder General Member of NSU he was former Professor of Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka.
With this sad demise North South University has lost its true friend. Undoubtedly, his death is a great loss for NSU and for the nation as a whole.

We pray to the Almighty Allah (SWT) for the salvation of the departed soul and to give the courage and fortitude to the members of the bereaved family to bear the loss.
