Condolence Message of Mr. Shah Abdul Hannan, of NSU Trust

 

NSU Live: We are shocked and grieved at the sudden demise of Mr. Shah Abdul Hannan, a Founder General Member of the North South University (NSU) Trust. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of NSU at different times.

Mr. Hannan, also a veteran civil servant and former Chairman, National Board of Revenue, former Deputy Governor Bangladesh Bank, former Director-General Bureau of Anti-corruption, former Secretary, Ministry of Social Welfare and IRD, Ministry of Finance, passed away today, 02 June 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in a city hospital, Dhaka (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Elaihi Rajeun).

With the sad demise, we have lost a son of the soil who was known for his dedicated and extensive service to the government of Bangladesh. His contribution to NSU in its formative years was immense.

We pray to the Almighty Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful, for the salvation of the departed soul and to give courage and fortitude to the members
of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
