BUP film fest closing ceremony held on campus

 

Live Correspondent: The closing and prize giving ceremony of two-day long film fest was held on Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) campus on Wednesday.

BUP Mass Communication and Journalism department organised the fest named "BUP Film Fest-2022" held at Bijoy Auditorium in the university.

The university vice chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam graced the occasion as the chief guest while actor Abul Hayat was the special guest. Besides, director Giasuddin Selim was present as judge at the film fest.

A total of 277 participants from 40 renowned public and private universities participated in five categories namely short film, cosplay, script writing, poster design and cine quiz competition in the fest.

Noted that actors, actress and filmmakers of the movie "Hawa" attended the opening ceremony held on Tuesday (August 2).
