Orientation and Development Workshop held at NSU

 

NSU Live: A two day–long Faculty Orientation and Development Workshop for Summer and Fall 2022 was organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at North South University (NSU) recently.

A notable number of full-time and adjunct faculty members joined the orientation workshop. The objective of the program was to make the new faculty members aware of the NSU rules and regulations, and available services and to discuss Outcome based teaching and assessment methods, curriculum development, research opportunities etc.

Prof. Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor of NSU welcomed the new faculty members and discussed the concepts of ethics in teaching.

The respected Deans from School of Business and Economics, School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and School of Health and Life Sciences talked about their respective schools and discussed the importance of faculty training programs.

The program was moderated by the IQAC Director, Prof. Dr. Nazmun Nahar,Phd.
