NSU Professor Elected as Fellow of BD Academy of Sciences

NSU : The Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, a renowned academic forum for Bangladeshi scientists and technologists, has elected Professor Dr. Hasan Mahmud Reza as a fellow.

Professor Reza currently serves as the Dean of the School of Health and Life Sciences at North South University.

Professor Reza received his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) in Japan in 2002, with a scholarship from the Japanese government (MONBUSHO).

He then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and later joined the Faculty of Biological Sciences at NAIST as an Assistant Professor in 2004. In 2007, he joined North South University.

As an accomplished researcher, Professor Reza has published over 110 research articles in renowned peer-reviewed journals, including Science, British Medical Journal, and Scientific Reports.

His election as a fellow of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences is a testament to his contributions to the field of science and his commitment to advancing research in Bangladesh.

Professor Reza's appointment as a faculty member at North South University will undoubtedly strengthen the university's academic standing and provide students with access to a highly skilled and experienced educator.
