Public varsity exams to go online

Live Correspondent: Students have long been suffering due to coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic. Considering the issue, a decision was taken that all the public universities of the country will be able to take the exam online from now on.
The decision came from a zoom meeting of the members of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and vice-chancellors of public universities on Thursday.
Confirming the matter, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor said the meeting decided that public universities can take examinations online.
From now on, those who have interests can take only academic examinations online. In this regard, the universities will have to take the approval of the academic council.
He also said the UGC's technical committee has prepared a guideline in order to hold exam online and all the universities will follow this guideline to this end.
