Rajshahi University gets new Vice-Chancellor

RU Live: Professor Dr Golam Shabbir Sattar, Director of the Institute of Environmental Science (IES), has been made the Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University (RU).
A circular was issued on Sunday in this regard. It was signed by Education Ministry's deputy secretary Mahmudul Alam.
President Abdul Hamid, chancellor of the university, appointed Professor Dr Golam Shabbir Sattar for the next four years
He was a former professor at the Department of Geology and Mining, University of Rajshahi.
He will take the charges as VC officially at 4pm. Currently, Golam Sabbir is the director of the Institution of Environmental Sciences at Rajshahi University.
