Chinese university intends to strengthen cooperation with DU

DU Live: A leading Chinese university intended to strengthen joint collaboration and work together with Dhaka University (DU) especially on innovation and entrepreneurship areas, a DU press release said today.

University of Michigan- Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute, China expressed this willingness today as a three-member delegation led by its Prof Dr Pradeep Ray called on DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman.

“The possibilities of signing a MOU in this regard were also discussed during the meeting,” the release added. The delegation included Prof Dr Kwee-Yan Teh and Prof Dr Soong Chul of the same university.

Director of DU Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center Associate Prof Md. Rashedur Rahman, DU Management Information Systems Department’s Associate Prof Dr. Md. Rakibul Hoque and Director of DU Public Relations Office Mahmood Alam were present on the occasion.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interes, exchanging views to explore collaboration between DU Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center and University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute.
