MRDI signs MoU with RU Journalism dept

 

RU Live : Management Research and Development Initiative (MRDI), a private development organization, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Rajshahi University (RU) on Tuesday morning.

Rajshahi University vice-chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar and MRDI executive director Hasibur Rahman Mukur signed the memorandum on behalf of their respective organizations in the conference room of Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Administration Building. Later, they exchanged the signed memorandums.

Under this MoU, it is mentioned that both parties will work on education, research and technological development of mass communication and journalism departments.

Apart from this, both sides have also agreed to work in other related fields including providing internships to students, engaging teachers and students in research work and providing training to teachers and students.

Among others, pro-vice-chancellor Professor Sultan-ul-Islam and Professor Humayun Kabir, Professor Dulal Chandra Biswas, Professor Pradeep Kumar Pandey, Professor Md. Mushtaq Ahmed, Professor Moshihur Rahman, Professor Mozammel Hossain Bakul, Professor Md. Shatil Siraj of Mass Communication and Journalism department and others related to both institutions were present at that time.
