CUET celebrates 53rd Independence and National Day

CUET Live: A discussion titled “Historical leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and development of the country” held at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on Sunday. CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
He said, “We Bengalis are a nation of heroes. We became independent under the leadership of Bangabandhu. During his reign of only four years, he took many visionary decisions which are relevant even today. Such leadership is truly rare in the world.”
Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology Prof Dr Sunil Dhar, Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering Prof Dr Mohammad Moinul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering Prof Dr Mohammad Moshiul Haq, Dean of Architecture and Planning Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Hasan were present as special guests in the discussion with Director of Student Welfare Prof Dr Mohammad Rezaul Karim in the chair.
Member Secretary of National Day Celebration Committee and Dean and Registrar (Additional Charge) of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir delivered the welcome speech.
