Proloy gang: DU expels two students temporarily

Live Correspondent: The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have temporarily expelled two students for their alleged involvement in misbehavior, anti-disciplinary activities and tarnishing the image of the university.
Two expelled students are Naimur Rahman Durjoy of Anthropology Department and Shakib Ferdous of Accounting and Information Systems Department. Both are members of the ‘Proloy gang’.
DU vice-chancellor Md Akhtaruzzaman has given the approval for temporary expulsion of the two students, said Public Relations office of the university in a notice on Tuesday.
The two expelled students have been asked to give reply to the letter clarifying that why they should not be permanently expelled from Dhaka University within seven working days.
