SAU student dies 7 days after jumping off hall roof

SAU Live: A student of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) died on Thursday seven days after she jumped off the roof of Krishakratna Sheikh Hasina Hall.
Maria Rahman, 25, third year student of Agriculture Department, died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 9am.
Confirming the matter to campuslive, Inspector Md Bachchu Miah, In-charge of DMCH police camp, said body of the deceased was kept at the morgue.
Maria’s brother-in-law Ashraf Ali said my sister-in-law was mentally disturbed as she couldn’t sit for an exam. She jumped off the roof of the 10-storey hall and was critically injured and admitted to DMCH on March 23.
Dr Farhad Hossain, Student Advisor Affairs of the SAU, he was informed about the death of Maria.
